“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
Life is full of seasons—some filled with joy and abundance, others marked by trials and uncertainty. As women of faith, we often find it easy to trust God when things are going well, but what about when life feels overwhelming? When prayers seem unanswered, doors close, and the path ahead is unclear, our faith is truly tested.
Yet, Scripture reminds us that our understanding is limited, but God’s wisdom is infinite. He sees what we cannot. He is working behind the scenes even when we don’t see immediate results. Trusting God means believing He is faithful, even in the waiting, even in the struggle.
Think of Sarah, who waited years for the promise of a child. Or Ruth, who left everything familiar to follow Naomi into the unknown. Or Mary, who surrendered her plans to God’s greater purpose. Each of these women faced uncertainty, but they held on to trust, and God’s faithfulness never failed them.
Sisters, no matter what season you are in, God is with you. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and holds your future in His hands. When fear whispers doubt, choose to declare His truth: God is for me, He is leading me, and His promises will come to pass.
Today, release your worries to Him. Trust His timing, trust His heart, and rest in His unfailing love.
Prayer: Lord, help me to trust You completely, even when life is difficult. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always in control. I surrender my worries to You and choose to rest in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
